STIMFLEX has started !

The technological transfer project « STIMFLEX » is officially in « Maturation Phase », with 18 months of support from the TTO LINKSIUM (Technology Transfer Organization) in Grenoble, France.

STIMFLEX ambition is to develop a new micro-technological tool for multisite neuron electrical stimulation in ex-vivo electrophysiology . The innovation is a micro-electrode array (MEA) compatible with top-approach microscopy imaging. This technology aims to improve drug screening methods for research industry working with sensitive samples such as mouse brain slices. The technology results of a 2 years collaboration between the LTM and LIPhy laboratories in Grenoble.

The project comes from a « Pre-maturation » program funded by CNRS Innovation and the PUI Grenoble Alpes.

The team is composed of Marco CANEPARI (research director, project leader, LIPhy), Marc ZELSMANN (research director, LTM) and Thibault FRESNEAU (research engineer, process development, LIPhy).
