µ and optoelectronic devices

We design and fabricate, on the PTA technology platform, prototype devices and proof-of-concept demonstrators aimed at light emission and detection in the near-infrared region. Leveraging our expertise in micro- and nanofabrication, we integrate III–V materials onto silicon substrates to create high-performance optoelectronic structures. Beyond fabrication, we carry out extensive electrical and optical characterization of these components—such as spectral response, responsivity, emission efficiency, and high-frequency behavior—in order to assess and optimize their performance. This combined approach of fabrication and in-house testing enables us to validate innovative architectures and processes at the laboratory scale, paving the way for their future transfer to industrial platforms or large-scale demonstrators.
